Woot

I'd like to tell you about an online shopping site I look at. It is Woot, and it sells low priced, creative electronics. It sells one per day until they are sold out. It has a blog too, and it hosts contests. Some of the things on this recent contest are pretty funny!

My website

My website I created last Friday is on the right sidebar for your investigation. It isn't much right now, but I am going to make it a lot better.

UPDATE: I am making it better. Here is the link to my website so you don't have to move your finger to see the top of the page (ha ha). Also, I made my website using the free web hoster angelfire.

The HTML strikethrough

This is the start of som some blogging questions. The first one is - the HTML strikethrough I just did to fix the grammar mistake. I find this a good thing to do to fix a grammar mistake instead of navigating to the Edit Post button on the Posting tab and replacing that word with the correct one. To do a strikethrough, you need to use the strike HTML tag. Right before the misspelled word, type "<" then the word "strike" then ">." Directly after the word, type "<" then "/" then "strike" then ">."

If you are aren't familiar with HTML tags, the beginning tag is this: type "<" then the keyword (such as strike in the previous example) then ">."
The ending tag (which should always go after a beginning tag in HTML rules) is this: type "<" then "/" then the same keyword then ">."

For additional information about the strikethrough and HTML tags see here.

Art Fair

Two days ago, I, my sister, and a friend set up and made an art fair, showing our best colored pencil drawings. A crowd of 7 other people attended this event. Tickets were given out to the audience for a raffle where the audience could win coloring pages, and we hosted drawing lessons. Before the fair, I was good at drawing vehicles and structures, and my sister was good at drawing animals and horses, and my friend was good at drawing people. We decided that we would draw each person's favorite object in that category. At the art fair, we each had a station where we gave out the pictures. We each had a different shaped hole punch, and we punched their ticket when we gave them our picture. Also at our stations, we displayed our drawings we had drawn on our own. The farm and savannah colored pencil pictures were drawn by the three of us over a period of many months, and were shown at the art fair.

The Guinness World Records 2009 book is now out, with new 3-D photography. The book comes with 3-D glasses for viewing the 3-D pictures. It has all your favorite records with full color pictures. If you like trying to break records, it has all you need to do that. Did you know the book itself holds a world record as the best-selling copyrighted series of all-time?
